It's hard to sum up my style in a few words or phrases but i'll try, based on what people have told me over the years.

THE PLAN
A few weeks ahead of your wedding day, I will send you a questionnaire to fill in to find out all about your day, and schedule a video call to run through everything.
I will also ask the names of your close family and anyone with a role in the wedding day, so I can use people's names, and make people think i've known you all for years.
This helps to put you all at ease, and helps me blend in and capture the action.
I like to find out any 'must haves' and a list of a max of 8-10 group photographs (if you're keen for a few relaxed group photos that is!) and helps everything run smoothly.
I like to find out your plans and what's important to you as a couple, so that on the day you can relax and have fun, wooohooo..... !!!
ON THE BIG DAY
No standing around, or being taken away from your guests for hours.
On the day, I mostly capture things as they unfold. The only set 'photography time' is the agreed group photographs mentioned above, plus around 10-15 minutes once or twice during your day where we will likely go for a wander to capture some relaxed couples photographs.
For a full day photography, I usually arrive around 2 hours prior to the ceremony to capture some candid photographs of you and your gang getting ready, and I usually stay until at least 30 minutes after the first dance. I take a break whilst you're eating (because as well as needing a lil break, who wants to be photographed stuffing their face?)
MY EDITING STYLE
I describe my editing style as 'clean editing'. I don't apply filters that may age quickly, or go with the 'latest fashion' in editing trends. Not to say there isn't the place for that, some people love it, it's just not me.
I edit to balance colour to true to life, sometimes warm up images (particularly golden hour if we are lucky to get one!), crop out and remove unsightly things (fire exit signs, bins, etc where possible).
Whilst I am happy to edit out temporary blemishes (eg. bruises/scratches/spots) and do light skin smoothing, I do not offer 'beauty editing' eg. changing peoples body shape or making people look 10 years younger. Sorry.
